AARP Tax-Aide Returns!

AARP Tax-Aide volunteers will offer free tax help to low-and moderate-income taxpayers, especially those 60 and older, at Greenwood Public Library from 10am to 2pm every other Thursday from February 8 to March 22.  Appointments are required for tax return completion; no appointment is necessary for tax-related questions or blank tax forms.

The following documentation is required for tax-return preparation: documentation for 2017 income, a copy of 2016 tax return, and social security cards for all listed on the return.  If filing jointly with a spouse and e-filing is desired that day, the spouse must be present to sign the return.

For information or to make an appointment, please call the Greenwood Public Library at 349-5309 or stop by the library.  The Greenwood Library is located at 100 Mill St. in Greenwood, just east of the railroad tracks.

AARP Tax-Aide is a confidential service that prepares tax returns and answers tax questions.  Volunteers are IRS-trained and certified.
