L.E.A.P. training sessions


The L.E.A.P. organization (Literacy Education Assistance Pups) announces training sessions at the Greenwood Library for you and your dog to prepare to become a reading therapy team. The sessions are scheduled from 6-7pm on the following Thursday evenings: April 5, 12 and 19.

The dog must be at least one year old, pass a temperament test given the first session of the series, and attend all three training sessions. Current vet records need to be provided and a background check for the handler is required. The handler must be at least 18 years old and pay annual dues of $30. The sessions are open to all 18 years and older. Pre-registration is required and can be done by registering online by clicking here  after March 1st, dropping by the Greenwood Library or calling 349-5309.
