Picturing America: Mixing Art Appreciation with American History (Online)

On November 6, at 2pm, the Greenwood Public Library presents a new online series for homeschooling students entitled “Picturing America: Learning from Home Support.” Lesson plans for this group of classes were compiled by the National Endowment for the Humanities and are designed to enable students to learn about our nation’s history through the rich artwork of our great country. This month’s offering is entitled “The Life and Legend of Paul Revere.” Activity packets for elementary, middle school and high schoolers are available at the Library’s front door. Save the cost of visiting a museum. Let the Greenwood Library become your school library!
