The Summer Reading Program consists of three age groups:
- Children (0-11)
- Teens (12-17)
- Adults (18+)
How it Works
A virtual badge and 5 online raffle tickets will be awarded for every 5 hours of reading time. Online raffle tickets can be applied to a range of awesome prizes from the Sussex County Beanstack until August 8th.
On top of that, anyone who reads for 10 hours may come to the library to receive a completion prize (varies by age group) and a raffle ticket to enter for an end-of-program prize from the Greenwood Public Library. You may earn extra raffle tickets for Greenwood prizes by attending programs to complete a program punch card.
Earning raffle tickets for Greenwood Public Library prizes ends on August 5th. Be sure to check our library calendar, Facebook, and Instagram for all of the exciting programs we have happening this summer!
Come in and ask about our READ AND BEAD incentive program, only for summer readers ages 4-11 who are registered with the Greenwood Public Library on Beanstack.
