The Friends of the Greenwood Public Library (“The Friends”) are a non-profit organization of citizen volunteers, associated on behalf of the Library. The purpose of The Friends is to be of service to the library, and to the community.
The Friends meet quarterly on the last Tuesday of the month at the library (see calendar for meeting dates). Feel free to attend our next meeting and see what we can do!

The Friends also sponsor LEAP (Read to The Dogs), Feelings Rock, and refreshments for the Library’s Summer Reading Program.
The Friends are currently accepting new members! Anyone can become a Friend, even if you don’t live in Greenwood. Simply fill out a Membership Form at the Library’s front desk, and attach your dues.
As a Friend, you can be as active as you want. Simply pay your dues each year, or volunteer your time to a good cause. Perhaps you would like to be on a committee, or on the board of the Friends of the Library?
